How much did you spend today? 20/01

Options
Hello!!!

Very sunny today, and friday - yaaaay!!!

Havent spent anything so far, and have lunch with me so shouldnt spend anything for the rest of the day. Going to gym after work, and then might go to the cinema after that to see "Fun with !!!!!! and Jane"..

Not much planned for the weekend, out tomorrow with friends for food/few drinks, but apart from that nothing..

Started looking into travelling a bit more, and checking out flights for start of Aug - I am going to do it as cheaply as I can (even if I do have a fair bit saved by then!!) - and show everyone that MS really does work!!!!! I posted on the Travel/Holiday Board too, but if anyone has any tips, can recomend good websites or anything, please message me!!

A pub around the corner from me are looking for p/t bar staff, so might drop my CV in there - dont want a 2nd job (got used to just having one!!), but if its only for 6/7 months I can cope!!!

So exciting!!

Ms_London (soon to be ms_australia!!) :0)

P.s - James240, Willsnarf - where are you? You guys ok? xx

    So far I have spent:

£18.00 on a coach ticket for next weekend to visit my bf,
50p on the local paper for the comps,
£1.10 on a corned beef pasty from bakery.

Tonight my bf is coming here and both sets of children are being looked after by their grandparents so we will be able to go out for a drink. This will be the first time in 3 months that we have been out as a couple without kids :T So I will probably spend some money tonight.

£2.30 for lunch as didn't have anything to bring in because i was out at a private gallery opening, oh la la! It wasn't the gilbert and george one, but one across the road at la viande, for students of the MA drawing at Wimbledon College. It's on all week and I highly recomend it.

I sort of let myself go with spending for January as I was so elated at getting through Christmas without getting further into debt, however, having seen pay off your mortgage in two years last night I realised that I should try and not spend all my budget for the month, especially for months where i have nothing on. So February is going to be a very strict and sober month for me, I'm going to try and not buy lunch for the whole month, as it's getting to be a little habit of mine to supplement with something from the salad bar.

Nothing so far and nothing planned, though I did put my card details onto 1899 for cheaper phone calls, as I'd been procrastinating about that a lot.

Got my car broken into this week so paid £50 excess on insurance yesterday:( and filled the car up with petrol too which was £46. Yik yik yik; just hate spending money now - have become such a skinflint LOL.

H's glasses broke and he just had an eye test and bought some new specs for £140:( - he didn't realise he could've got a free eye test and done it the MoneySaving way. Maybe next time.
