Calling mobiles from US into the UK

I'm on an Orange 50 min x network contract.
I want to call UK mobiles and land lines from Las Vegas in the US.
Is there a scheme like the Simply-Fones one that will let me call for free or let me use up my 'free minutes' on my mobile so I can avoid the high charges?
Help!
Thnx.

- not using your Orange contract
think about using a US SIM in an unlocked phone, and US networks use different frequencies, so a triband from here will work on 1900 there (which tends to make you favour T-mobile there)
US networks charge incoming calls too
for info on networks see http://www.prepaidgsm.net/en/usa.html
some of the networks sell prepaid SIMs only with a phone included, or you can find other SIMs on eBay.
I think your choice will depend a bit on how much use you expect; as you can see, on some networks the per minute charges become more attractive for higher use
one or two (eg Callplus) have calls available to UK landlines via a call-through number; otherwise use a US based calling card, which would charge about 1p per minute landlines, 10p mobiles, on top of the network per minute charges
