  • Our food bill for two adults, two greedy children, one dog quite happy to eat gk's leftovers (saves me doing it, get a dog loose weight)one fussy cat and two guinea pigs(cheap in summer, very dear in winter, used to be £800 per month no wonder we're in debt. January down to £520 February a tiddly £261.46 yes I did it. March challenge £250.

    Do you give lessons?

    I have managed to halve what I was spending on food and so far have not received any complaints (don't think he's noticed)!

    Still learning and trying to get it right - and enjoying the challenge! (If only I'd done this years ago.....)

    Well my budget went out the window so I've decided to start over from Wednesday with a fresh budget, a new month and an idea for lent ... ;)
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Yes I did it too(for the first time!!)

    Budget for Feb was £250.00-actual spend £215.30 therefore a healthy £34.70 underspend!!

    The Use it up idea really helped me but have now almost run out of things to use up so have will have to do some stocking up for March.Also Hubby's 40th birthday this month so I feel an expensive month coming on!!
