OR interview, what should I expect?

My interview is at 2pm today. My OR has told me that it will take between half to one and a half hours over the phone. I cannot think how it would even last hlaf an hour, so I am very nervous.. Also, I am on nights so should be trying to get some sleep, before it, but, guess what, I can't!
The OR also sounds very young, and when I rang before, was in a training course for the day, so hope she is not too zealous, and wanting to make me pay for my "crime".
Any hints as to what to expect?
TIA.

Hubby and I had to go there in person so over the phone sounds less daunting. All we had to do was wait while she went through our forms and ask us any questions she had. Stuff where we'd not put enough info or something like that. Our one was very nice....polite and respectful and undersatanding even. My bit was straightforward, hubby was self employed, probably why we had to go there in person, his a little more complicated as more questions to answer. But it all went OK.
So really, nothing to worry about if you've got nothing to hide. Good luck.0 -
Nothing to be worried about, most are nice people just doing their job. However if I could give you one piece of advice it would be ..Do not waffle. There will be periods of silence, whilst the OR writes the info down, do not be tempted to fill these in with conversation. Keep it to the point and if you dont know anything, just say I dont remember. Not all of us can remember what we spent the money on several years ago. Good luck, its not as bad as you think, let us know how you got on.0

Dodgers advice is perfect! We were told it could take anything up to 1 and a half hours each but infact it was less than half an hour for both of us. If you can have your SOA and any other info you might need close by and a glass of water that would ideal. Try not to panic it really isn't as bad as we all think it will be!

One big tip is DO NOT WAFFLE. There will be silences where the OR is writing things down, DO NOT attempt to fill in those silences. Only answer the questions that are being asked, don't offer information not asked for.

my OR said the interview would only last about 20mins but even in that short amount of time i kept saying to myself dont waffle over and over he basicly only asked about 3 question but had to bite my tongue as i do like to waffle. If you want to see the rainbow ,you gotta put up with some rain0
