For Wheat-Free, my DD ( who is coeliac (sp?) ) contacted Juvela, I think, and they sent out loads of freebies of pasta, bread and stuff.....in fact all the stuff that is available on prescription. Give it a go Gemmzie

And get a bread maker, Gluten-Free bread is horribly expensive, doesnt keep and is generally carp! Make it in a BM and finish in oven is miles better.

I've been wheat free for about 18 months but because I test negative to coeliac when they test my blood, I can't get the prescription. Stupid really because my blood tests have never been accurate.

I love my bread maker, the stuff you can buy is awful. The WF bread is nothing like real bread though and I can only stand it toasted.

Is it all dairy that you're affected by Gemmzie? Or just cow products? I just wondered because my Mum & Dad switched to goats milk and have fewer digestive problems since and Mum's skin has really cleared up (it used to get really dry and itchy). Might be worth trying in addition to soy milk?

brrrrrrrrrrrrr. Radio says it is going to be -8 tonight here! It was cold down the park a few minutes back!!

Been to the school, it takes 5 minutes to drive there, so I should be ok leaving at 8.15 in the morning to get there for 8.30. Need to sort out all the photocopying next into polypockets and put it in folders so I'm ready and make sure I have everything I need so I can just be out the door in the morning.

Looks even more like the third course is going to run so I am going to have even more work to do whilst I'm on holiday :( I must be mad just saying 'yes' to everything I have been offered.

    Rant alert:

Why are Sainsbury's being such silly !!!!!!?
I'm still trying to get the refund from them (for groceries I didn't get).
I'm annoyed that I have to prove to THEM that THEY have taken my money, when their bleedin computer system will have my card number, date & £62.11 in it somewhere.
I needed to pay that money into another account to pay a DD. That has now bounced, so that's a £20 charge and a load of hassle with the company I needed to pay, and I'm seriously pi**ed off.
CSA payment still missing, I suspect ex felt a bit poor and decided not to pay last week (yes I did count 1 bank holiday).
I can't stop eating either so bang goes the diet! Frankly I want to cry with frustration!

    it's ok, rant over now.
