never mind you little springbok! ... it's a purely scottish childhood throwback!!! probably before your time!

there was a clip on TV the other night - I tried to explain it to my DS that the music was rubbish, dancers were awful and lots of people shouted "hoooooch" a lot and yet we still watched it....:o :o :rotfl:

it's actually a tartan air hostess uniform Luc but that show was a big scottish tartan nightmare of the seventies!:D

Ah - I was an Englandshire resident until 1979 when I moved to Shetland so missed it. Was the show actually called Thingammyjig? I thought you just couldn't remember the name:rotfl:

P.S. MMMaz - its not me that's the Springbok, its Hubbles. I be an English Rose (born in Germany and raised mostly in Scotland - its no wonder I get confused:p )

aaaah! i stand corrected, but can you blame me for getting confused!

Thingummyjig - yes, it was really called that!
Round about the same time as Glen Michaels Cavalcade!!

Skinty - the reason we watched it, was because there was nothing else on, and it was better than going to bed on hogmanay!!!

Jinky - yes i remember it, i'm older than you aren't i? I don't remember the White Heather Club though!!!!

Do you guys remember Now you See it? With Johnnie Beattie?? - class! my dad was on that programme, won £50 and a decanter and glasses!! lol
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Yes, that was the show's name not sure of the spelling. it was truly dreadful.
I think the air hostess uniform would be rather nice though.
