Are people still buying CRTs? I'm sure they will fade out soon like video recorders are.

I want a CRT next, you get a much better picture quality for £250 than you would spending £500 of an equivalent LCD!

Plus if you have the TV in the corner of the room (Like me) you don't get any benefit from having an LCD - In my house it would not take up any less space. If I were to hang it on the wall, some people would end up watching it at a 45 degree angle.
  • I bought this same tv last week from Empire Direct after a previous poster advertised it . I have been very impressed indeed. In TV / Hi fi review magazine , March 2005 , it was selling for £400 by itself and got 4 out of 5 star's , one of the best reviews of all the CRT's reviewed . Now its almost half that price + dvd / vcr !! Basically - get in there quick !!!!
  • I went to check this out, and it says £197 for the 28" one, £225 for the 32" one??
Seems even more of a bargain!!!! :)

Couldn't find any reviews of the SD26VB DVD/Video combo but the SD33VB looks similar and is a Best Buy: Home Cinema Choice Review

Quidco should give you around £10 back plus there's a code that works in the forums for £10 off plus free delivery. Seems like a great deal for around £200 all in. Thanks to kmkmkm for posting.

Found one on the rpoints vouchers section that seems to work, it was the 'mum to be voucher' second one down if you filter codes by lxdirect. £10 off and free delivery.
