Please can I join in again?
I flew a bit last year, but lost motivation when I went back to work after maternity leave with DS2 in April. As part of my New Year resolution type stuff I want to do this again, but I don't have a lot of time to read everyone's lovely posts. Last time I think I spent more time trying to follow the banter then I did actually cleaning!
I've just printed out the list, so will get as much done as possible while the baby naps now....0 -
greenbee - thank you for the B&Q vouchers which came today0

Quick Question?
Recyling, is there any point at the moment. My dad was saying that it is being stockpiled in a warehouse as the price has dropped. He said that there is a chance that it could end up on a land fill site.
I suppose I can look to reuse thinks to make things with my daughter. Like tin cans that are opened with ring pull, can use them to make pen pots. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

I think it's being held on disused airfields as well. Paper especially is causing a problem as the money they were getting for recycling it has dropped dramatically. I think it's something to do with the shipments that are coming from China. When all the stuff was unloaded, they'd refill the ships with stuff for recycling to take it back again because the demand for waste paper was high over there. I think that's tailed off so it's not so cost effective for them to do it. Still cheaper than landfill though. Found this...
