OMG, Katie/Jordan has left the jungle! Sorry fot those of you that are not fans!

So far today I have sat on my big bum, eaten breaky and spent £9.99 on two fabulous presents...trouble is I have already bought all my pressys but I couldn't resist these:rotfl:. See its not good to be organised, you just end up buying more in the long run.

I am going to venture out later to do an MS, the weather here is dreadful so don't really want to leave the warmth of my blanket and the comffy sofa! I've got a sore throat and ear and a big lump in the roof of my mouth...i'm not well!

Aw thank you. I am sat listening to Susan Boyles album (bought on the Tesco 500 points offer earlier in the month) I know i'm going to sound so old, but its brilliant, made me go all goose bumpy!

I have just had a telephone interview with a MS company, they sound very organised and professional, so fingers crossed.

Did a little bit of window shopping whilst I was out, went to the postoffice - our local one sells the most amazing unusal gifts and jewellery, also the garden centre - was looking for some WelliBobs but luckily they didn't have any. I managed to spend £3.49, £2.50 on a lovely christmas box to put my youngest neices presents in and 99p on an organic cabbage!:rotfl:

Off to do some ironing now!

  • Good day today on the spending/earning front.

    Spends = £0! Earnings = 1 Extra shift!

Lunch was a pot of cottage cheese, ryvittas and tomotoes:A

    No wine yesterday or today:j

I did do the ironing yesterday and even vacuumed:p. Poor pets wondered what on earth was going on, in fact i'm sure the dog thought the outlaws were coming as thats the only time the house is clean and tidy normally!:rotfl:

Wow, i'm so good I just don't how to congratulate myself....perhaps a packets of crisps or a snickers would do:rolleyes:

Well I am feeling a little sick, as you are all aware the last months spending has got well out of hand, just how much has become apparent - the credit card bill has arrived, lets just say I am deeply ashamed and am going to have to transfer some money out of savings to cover it:mad: :mad:I havn't had a bill like this for a year or more and although some of it is Christmas presents and some enforced spends from MSs that I am waiting for refunds on its still rediculous. OK i'm going to put in print how much it is just to give me the kick up the backside I need: [STRIKE]£2067[/STRIKE] ops just realised although it IS bad it's not THAT bad - £1,637 (forgot part of it is the interest free amount from earlier in the year when we bought our bedroom furniture).:eek:

OMG Martin is on the TV...feeling faint now.

Am having Chinese and wine tonight and :p to everyone, I know this doesn't help ease the overspend but hubby had already phoned and offered to get chinese takeaway as he is going to be late home - luckily conversation took place before I opened the cc bill.

Aw well, sometimes emergency rations are called for

Ahem Day 4 in the AF house here :A

PS have you seen the £14 Moet in Morrisons :rotfl:
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    You are seriously saintly GG

Really enjoyed the wine and chinese, finished them both off tonight!

£14 for a bottle, even Moet is a bit rich for me! Although maybe just one...no no no, I won't (only because there is no Morrisions by me! :rotfl:)

    Today has been spend free..phew...

Will have to juggle savings to allow for massive cc bill, thing is we have to pay into the regular savings to avoid penalties, so it will be paying in them most of it straight back out again.

Can't you access your credit card online so you can see the accumulated expenditure during the month? As I'm with NatWest for accounts and one of my credit card accounts, they are all listed when I login. Does help keep your attention on the spend.

That said, £2000 per month is typical for us if I have say £400 work expenses, because all spend is on it whilst we offset to maximise the benefit. Hope that makes you feel better?
