    Where have I been? I don’t know!!

AF days are good this week for me!!!!! Been ‘dry’ since Saturday night (that sounds soooo bad):rotfl:

I am slowly but surely picking up MS again, it all fell a bit when Dad had his accident as I was so busy and then because you tend to book them in advance and I hadn’t had the opportunity to log on and grab any I ended up not doing many at all end September through most of October.
Anyway I’m back in the swing now, even though my ‘dongle’ is playing up!
Yesterday I did a big superstore (where incidentally someone rammed open their car door onto my nice shine car…boo hoo, my first tiny dent and paint loss). Two ‘catalogue’ shops, one mobile phone shop (aww I know this is bad but the manager had such bad breath I couldn’t wait to leave!) a yummy sandwich shop (who said there’s’ no such thing as a free lunch as long as your willing to write up a report afterwards there IS) and a jewellery shop. My printer packed up whilst trying to print loads of information for said jobs…..why is my life never easy? Anyway after lots of [STRIKE]swearing and a little thumping [/STRIKE] tending loving care the printer returned to life.
I have four telephone call MSs booked for Friday.

Spending has gone awry again! Although I do only have the MIL left to buy for Christmas. Its my nieces birthday jut before Christmas so an expensive time but I managed to get a really good deal on loads of bits and pieces for her – her Christmas list consisted of lots of items from the Argos book – priced anywhere from £29.97 to £9.99, a quick look on line soon found the £29.97 DS game for £12.40 ekk what a difference. Along with the Amazon credit card deal (£15 back on first spend) we managed to get every thing on her list for the grand total of £29.76, considering Argos prices came in at over £85 I am very pleased:j! I had already bought her lots of stocking fillers so hopefully she will be pleased. Girls of 7 – 11 years are so easy to buy for! Its only when they get to 18 like my other niece it all becomes a headache! Money or vouchers normally suffices then!

A visit to Next (somewhere I don’t normally frequent as my bum/boobs/stomach/legs are too fat in their clothes!) has left me £52 poorer. They have the most fabulous oak picture frames, I just had to buy myself some, an early Christmas present to myself…hmmm I sound like someone else on this thread, sharing excuses is really not good.
I might do my own little £10 a day challenge, you know how much I love starting a challenge and promptly falling on my backside and failing!

I have already worked an extra this week so that’s £35 up, I take it we count earnings after tax? With the MS’s from Monday I would have already succeeded this week, perhaps this is a good challenge for me after all, I wonder if I make more one week can I carry it forward to the next?

I could really drink a glass of wine right now….bum these silly challenges I set myself.

Now I have a confession, tomorrow I have a days leave booked from work, but....., I've not told anyone (except my boss!), not my hubby, parents, elderly friend who relies quite heavily on me, I feel so naughty, but I just want a day for ME.

Well done on all that Christmas shopping. I haven't bought a thing yet! Which is no surprise after what happened on my last "Christmas" Shopping expedition _pale_ :rotfl:
Still enjoying my boots, gloves, jumper and slippers by the way:D

  • Money news, just completed a MS on line for the grand total of £1.50:rotfl:It took less than 2 mins so not bad:D

Nice posty just delivered my neices christmas/birthday presents and £55.50 in Tesco vouchers, they will more than cover our joint RAC cover from January:j.

Spent more money on line- BHS have postage free day, so took advantage by ordering blanket (it is getting cold!) and some socks. I did go through Quidco though...anyone getting the reoccuring theme here?

I am going to get off my backside and muck out my bedroom (he he I sound like a teenager!)
