  • Well I've had a very saintly NSD today, not sure about DH sometimes it best not to ask!!

On the down side I have not managed any MSs today, have a pub one tomorrow, no pay but we do get a free meal for two:j.

Has anyone got any good money making ideas for the next couple of weeks...I don't think my £100 is going to last the next 4 weeks (have to buy grocerys etc out of this too!!)

Yeah but to save for the wedding and house deposit we need to be making £86 per day above our normal wages :eek::eek:

  • Ahhh, now that makes my £100 to last 4 weeks look positively 'loadsa money':rotfl:

Almost a no spend day, had another Graze box delivered so that was £1.99 but very yummy, todays secret box was fresh pineapple, yoghurt coated peanuts (yum yum yum) and American nut mix. Well worth the money I think (OMG did I jst say something was worth money?????:rotfl:

Just had a free dinner curtosy of a lovely MS company, shame I had to write up a report on my return:rotfl:

How the devil is everyone? You are all so quiet (even GG??!!)

I guess the summer is keeping us out and about, or, everyone is cutting their electricity consumption so aren't online?

All is well with us generally, ISA S&S funds have been doing very well which is reassuring and I got a pay rise I wasn't expecting :j

Things still look very tight for us to hit our stretch of October to be MF, but this will become clear in mid-September. Keep up all that MS activity, may need to look into that a little with OH but once MF I'm not sure it will happen :o
  • Oh I ditched the Graze box right after the first free one! I knew I'd get addicted so nipped that one in the bum.

Need to get groceries you say? Sounds like a store cupboard and freezer challenge to me!!! Then just a cheapo (if you're strict with yourself) milk, bread (if none in freezer) and fresh fruit and veg... I usually squeeze cheese on that basic list too!
    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.

Sorry TPA I was taught that it's rude to speak with my mouth full & I've been eating tomatoes all week 16.gif
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
