Morning TPA, glad to hear you enjoyed you weekend :D

We do both desperatly need to lose weight so perhaps no food shopping for 6 months is the answer
:rotfl:May be a little extreme? :rotfl:Sounds scary how much is going into the reg savers!
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

As my OH and I sat and sank a bottle of pino by the riverside yesterday, I briefly thought of you! Not that your reputation preceeds you on MSE forums!!! I rarely drink and he usual thinks about buying just a glass of wine then opts for beer instead. It was nice to have that treat... after all we were celebrating.

I'm sure you'll fathom a way to make the numbers work for you. Where there's a will there's a way... as a now regular reader of many MFW diaries, there's cetainly plenty of will around. Any corner you can find to pull the belt in tighter or keep the purse closed will get you through.

Ditto on mystery shopping, it's a double whammy of being in the right place at the right time. Firstly being at the computer when the email arrives of the new assignments get uploaded onto a website. Secondly being near an assignment location, on the right day at the right time and after all that having access to the internet with in 24hrs!!! I find myself doing less and less these days!

GG I have only just completed my first job for BARE, I have applied for lots of the car jobs but never been offered them:mad:

Today had been a better day, logged onto mine and hubbys Quidco, he has £50 showing as received and I have £100 showing, this will be paid into our accounts at the end of the month:T. We are also waiting on £100 each from Alliance & Leicester for opening an account and moving all our DD over to them. Thought that would be in our accounts today as its 4 months since we opened them, however its not:mad:. Could really do with this.

Had to fill up with petrol today, its gone up to 99.9p:eek:, however I used a £10 voucher I had for sainsburys, so £36 for a full tank not quite so bad.:j
Mum wanted some stuff from M&S as I had £15 worth of vouchers she bought them off me:j. I took a blouse back that I had bought with the intention of 'slimming into it':rotfl:, so another £16 for the pot.:j
Did four MSs today, £26 for the pot and a free lunch for me and mum.:j

So overall a good day for money saving:j:T.

Wow, we're already 102.9p and I bet they'll go up again; Wednesday seems to be the day my local garage put their prices up in the week. If oil stays at present levels then I guess prices may stabilise but who can tell, and despite this Sterling has strengthened against the Dollar and it still goes up at the pump

    What a great day!

I have just been through 220 jobs on RE -. The jobs all seem to be either where I've just been (about 6 sandwich shops I could have done today) or are where I'll be prior to the jobs
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • I am not a happy bunny! Have just phoned Alliance and Leicester to find out where mine and hubbys £100 is. Only to be told it wasn't available on our accounts only on another very similarly named account. So thats £200 we are down:mad:. Could have really done with that this month. I did argue the point but the assistant wa having none of it. Might have to send an email when I havn't got such a headache.

    NSD today (just as well:rolleyes:)
