  • I had pork chops tonight too. Grilled, not slow cooked though. And curly kale, carrots and cous cous. Yummy but no left overs for lunch at work tomorrow so will have to make a butty now!

I didn't puke, cry or fall over! But I did talk a lot and didn't manage much off the 'to do' list the next day. Somehow, I managed to avoid the hangover I so deserved too!

Evening all, the amazon bargains have tempted me again, 3 bottles of Aussie hair care with a scarf and presentation box for just over £5 has to be a bargain, so much so I even posted it on the grabbit board:p

I have done an extra shift tonight, just got home and am sat with a bottle of bud!!

Oh dear, I have now also failed my alcohol challenge! Suprise, suprise:rolleyes:

Went to a good friends last night, had a girly night and ots of Cava!:p

Am going out tomorrow and already have two bottles of red lined up to take with me!:o

Went to Aldi and was the last of the big spenders.....£6.03!:rotfl:

Finally set up the 'dry buddi' that we bought at the end of the winter, was suprised that it didn't take up too much electricity. Dried a load for 1.87kwh.

  • Had a fun day yesterday, got a phone call asking if i could do a last minute MShop, managed to negotiate a £31 fee, only had to spend £2 (which was spent on items I needed anyway!). We were going to a friends for the evening so only had to go about 8 miles out of our way...nice work if you can get it!:j

Got a tea time job this evening with a nice reimbersment, will 'take hubby out for tea':rotfl::T.

Still haven't managed to get a dog bed....he will think Santa has fogotten him, especially as Santa has bought the cat a lovely one!

I am a bit tiddled off as I ordered hubby a Wii game from Tesco, oredered on 7th, says will be dispatched within 4 days......hmm, still waiting, Tesco help[STRIKE]less[/STRIKE]line is constantly engagaed. Will not be happy if it doesn't arrive as it's the only thing hubby has actually said he will like:mad:.

Two more working days for me......Wednesday and Christmas Eve, then i'm off until 5th January:j.

Hope the game arrives. Enjoy the break from work
  • Great news on the MS jobs... never say no to free food! I had the choice (didn't have time for both) of free lunch or mobile phone shop on Saturday and chose the shop. Big mistake, was the second to worst MS I've ever done!

I had a phone call yesterday asking if I could do an 'emergency' phone job today..pay £6, it's in the centre of town, so would have to pay petrol and parking and it's a few days before Christmas.....erm, let me think.... NO. Woke up today to find a blanket of snow so glad they didn't offer me a premium as I would bot have been able to do it anyway:eek:

I have come to a major decision, after eating half a tin of Quality Street and can concour I don't like them and would like a tin of Roses instead:p.

It's payday on Wednesday, who would like to take bets on how wrong mine will actually be:rolleyes:.

I have just wrapped hubbys presents, am starting to panic now, as although we agreed not to spend very much, oncw wrapped his pile of pressys look dismal, especially as the one thing he really wanted has still not come, in fact it looks like it han't even been dispatched yet:mad:. I have tried to contact Tesco but their helpless line is still engaged:mad:.

Are you sure? You might want to revisit that - better safe than sorry & all that ;)

 really, really annoying! Hope you get through & get it sorted.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
