Tut tut, TPA, buying mags is good (as long as you do 3 for £1 & get £4 cashback)
:j Yep, thats what did! Except for when Dad was laid up I bought him take a break for the puzzles, with hope he would win me something! Oh yes and the subscriptions bought with my Tesco vouchers!
Well done TPA, great year for you & thanks for all your support & well reasoned, mature comments
:rotfl:, I think I got my cheek from you GG, I always new I was younger than my 'real' age. At least I always give you an excuse for your spending as well as my own:rotfl:
Well, I have put on the dishwasher with the meter monitor, so far we are over half way through with 1.22KWH used.:D
I have sorted out the freezer half of the fridge/freezer and thrown out numerous items that were OOD, at least I now know whats actually in there!
Have logged into npower to get my bills online - der cannot beleive I wasn't already doing this!
Have got items out of the freezer to do a 'slow cooker' meal tomorrow, purely to see how much said slow cooker costs to run!
Managed to nab a meal mystery shop for next weekend...am I mad it's nearly Christmas, but at £40 refund for food and £10 for my trouble I couldn't really refuse;). It's not too far from home and can do my weekly shop on the way home.
Hubby is driving me mad as he has asked me to see how much something is on line, the trouble is i'v already bought it for him for Christmas.......I really hope he doesn't go out and buy it:mad:
Off to check my meter monitor!:rotfl:

Ops, almost forgot, got a cheque on the post for £48 yesterday, the last payment/refund I was due from dealership.
Car booked in for free service in January, with free curtosy car provided! Very happy with that, it's just a shame the garage is a 55 mile round trip.MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -

I found some pastry in mine today, best before Oct 2007 . Tasted lovely

OMG, you ate it?
OK, either I have done something wrong or weezl has. I know every machine will be different, but our dishwasher, on the normal setting used 1.94kwh according to our monitor. We pay 11.58p per kwh so thats approx. 24p per cycle. Of course this does not included the tablet or water.
Have just managed to transfer hubbys closed regular saver into fixed rate account that has been open for a while, even so 4.05% gross, fixed until October in todays climate is not bad. Now just need to remember my log in details and transfer same!

Me again!
I am a domestic godess! My slow cooker is on (complete with meter monitor to work out the cost!) To fully gain my new title I would really have to do some house work....so, i'll just drop the title and go back to surfing!
I am so excited, I am gagged so cannot say to much:silenced:;- Ordered some pxx fxxx on line, advertised as ....kg but when it came it was actually only one tenth of this size. It appears someone forgot to add a decimal point!
- Expressed my disappointment in an email
- Was told I had ordered the smaller size
- Replied that web site and dispatch email both stated the larger size
- Then I get an offer off £5 off a further order...erm, I don't think so!
- Search on here for my rights about contract law, did some cutting and pasting explaining I knew my rights.......
- Got an email back this morning and company are going to refund me in full and I can keep the items delivered. :j
Don't you hate it when big companies try to pull the wool over your eyes!

I am a Domestic Godess. It is offical. I have not only put dinner in the slow cooker, I have walked the dog, washed clothes (and tumble dried them:eek:) hoovered and washed two floors and am about to clear out bedroom!
What would hubby do without me?!

Hey,
Just a quick update for you regarding my alcohol (ism) free-ness! Here are my confessions:
I got hammered about two weeks ago.
I had two glasses of wine last Saturday... Apart from that I've been stone cold sober!
I can't promise to behave over Christmas or New Year.
Hope you are all well!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -

No! lol, it's no where near tidy enough for a visit from the MIL!
Something very funny happened though, I had got out all the ironing etc. ready to be done, then thought...hmm, need to hoover living room first, so up come the side tables etc. all the ironing, hangers etc. onto sofas, next thing door bell rings, it's the chap who is in the process of buying next door, wanting to come in for a chat:rotfl:Good news is, he seemed lovely:D, bad news he now knows i'm bonkers and live in a complete tip:eek: and the dog gave him a nip on the way out the door:eek:. I really hope I/Dog haven't put him off as he really did seem lovely and we have had our fair share of neighbours from hell:mad:.Girlie swot

Wow you are doing well:j. Did you get sick whilst hammered?:rotfl:
As for your promise (or not) for new year, I should hope not!
The tea from the slow cooker was lovely, pork chops and loads of vegetables, it was just melt in the mouth. It took 0.97kwh so the cost for electricity to run slow cooker all day is about 11p:rotfl:. I need some receipies now, am determined to use it more, especially on the days I double back for a shift.
Alcohol is still zilch since last update:D, buying still out of control:eek:. Amazon have got some great bargains at the moment...yep the grabbit board got me again.
