Thanks for all the horsey replies....farmer wants to put 10 stables/sand school/dung heap and car park right up against our garden. He's now decided he can't afford to build himself so it's on market for 380k, including 10 acre field. DH is dithering over whether we should buy so no developement occurs-but 380k!!It's just not worth that,but it has planning permission to convery old brick farm "shed" to groom accom....Debt-free...and staying that way...0

afternoon all - i know nowt about horses, have only been riding once and that was in Majorca on one of those Rancho Grande places where you get the riding, meal, hoe down thingy, so not exactly a real rider!!
Too poor for horse riding in my childhood! sob sob...!
no great plans today, noone woke up until almost pm today, and have to get both bedrooms tidied up and all clean washing put away...
back to work tomorrow, but don't suppose i can complain as haven't been there since noon on xmas eve!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Learnt to ride when I was younger......but horses bite me! they know I dont like them ( grew up on Dads dairy farm, cows much easier and stupid ) and make a point of trying to chew lumps off! Evil animals......and all this 'just hold your hand flat and they will take the grass/mint/food off of your palm without biting your fingers'......rubbish.
