12 month free line rental deals via redemption, who’s good who’s bad?

12 month free line rental deals via redemption, who’s good who’s bad?

I think a list of our experiences would help a lot of people who may be considering one of these deals.

I’ll start the ball rolling:

OSPS (one stop phone shop)

I’m nearly at the end of my 12 months with OSPS & to date have received my 2 cash back payments with no real problem.
I still have my last payment to claim in a few days but if the first 2 are anything to go by it should be fine.

I have sent the bills on time & have always sent them via Special delivery so that I had proof of delivery. (I haven't had to use this proof)

It can be a bit confusing knowing what bill to send but a phone call to OSPS to double check that I was sending the correct bill was no problem.

So in my experience I would have to say that OSPS are ok for cash back via redemption.

What are your findings of these deals with your supplier?

Got instore The Link offer (see separate thread) - not best handset (but I don't care), but at least reliable company that should be around for a while and no stress about delivery/not receiving vouchers etc...Finally, appears to have reasonable cashback terms.

What is peoples general experiences with claiming cashbacks from Dialaphone.

They seem to offer great deals, much better then the link + CPW etc but I am a bit weary that if I don't get my cashbacks off them it'll work out a lot worse deal.

Anyone had good / bad experiences with them!?

    Cheers

  • Ive personally been very impressed with e2save and also Mobileshop. I have had trouble with OSPS, though I did get my money back after a fight.
  • although Dialaphone offer better deals but their cashback (to O2) are not proper cashbacks - they credit your airtime account, which effectively tie you in for longer than 12 months otherwise you'll lose the last part of the cashback.

E2save, 8 out of 8 successful cashback claims to date.

I phoned E2save before Christmas and asked "Which companies do you price match on cashback deals?" I was told Onestophoneshop and dialaphone, the sales person suggested that there are several companies who do not honour the terms of the cashback contract.

Are OSPS reliable in giving your money back or are they still a shambles?

Is this definitely true? Will O2 not simply refund you any credit you may have after month 12 has finished if you cancel?
  • They seem to do some good deals, are they good for the cash backs and who owns the company? Any help would be good

    Hey All,

i notice some very lucrative deals on the site but am a bit jubious to go to them because not seen much feedback on here OR anywhere on the net so wondered if anyone had experience.

im currently on a battle with osps to price match but they dont want to know for various reasons - has anyone been able to get osps to match this company?

    Thanks in advance

The problem with price matching is that you lose your quidco.com cashback and that can be worth £25. Price matching dialaphone certainly is not worth it, unless you are trying to avoid having it paid into your o2 account.

Matching OSPS certainly would be with the risks that everyone says about them.
