everything is going wrong today. Whilst this is a mobile problem its also a debt problem as the monthly payment affects your credit rating.

Situation is this -

30th December - Purchased a phone from above said people.
3rd January - They dispatched the phone.
4th January - Should have rcd the phone but didn't.
9th January - Phone arrives. Had been sent to wrong address.

9th January - Changed my mind and decide to cancel my mobile as business closing down. Sent email requesting how to return phone.
13th January - Not had a reply so called them up and told to open package and send phone back to address on invoice. I advised the girl as per my previous email that I wanted to cancel the contract.
19th January - Phone rcd by them but they say that its outside of the 2 week cool off period.

19th January - Phoned Orange to complain who have filed a report. They told me the cool off starts from when I receive phone. :mad: Said company however does not agree with orange. Orange cannot cancel the contract until said company advise them and of course you guessed it said company won't cancel it.

Where do I stand and what would you suggest?? Thanks for your help everyone!

haha i have had an ongoing thing with Orange for 2 years now .. they are crap and will do nothing to helo you out.. we've even had trading standards involved who have said that they have broken all the rules in the book,,, but still they keep handing the debt out to recovery agents ... and it was only for £70 in the first place, it must have cost them double that in admin so far!!!
so dont hold your breath

I owe orange £2.45 have done for 2 years at least or so they say, I get a bill every month, must cost them a fortune LOL.
