Woolworth's poor sale.

I have been venturing into Woolworths these last few weeks to see if there is anything worth buying (I know I feel like a vulture but it will make sure these poor employees will get paid) but I must say it's a very poor show. How on earth do they expect to sell cds and DVDs at such ridiculous prices that are higher than the other compertition retilal outlets. I saw a Dr Who DVD that I can get in Borders for £7.99 for £19.97 (and this was meant to have been a reduced sale price) as well as cds for £11-£15.99
I'm sorry but Woolworths are in a dream world but I am still sad to se them go

I went to my local woolworths, quite a poor sale. They were selling rights to the Woolworth's trademark for 50p and the entire chain of stores for £1. Not much of a discount IMO.0

mmm, sorry don't agree, our woolworths had all dvd's, blue-ray, ps3 games at 50% off then 70%
there was mark up on a few dvd's, but overall great bargins. they will be missed!0 -
The sale reflected the state the shop had become over the last 10 years - a sad affair. No wonder they didnt survive.0

And their displaying of cd's was a mess. There was no order to it. Not like the old days when they used to sell vinyl.0
