Nokia 3410 can't hardly hear who's calling

My 02 PAYG Nokia broke yesterday.

I found an old Nokia 3410 in the cupboard.

Now I know why I stopped using it, I can hardly hear the person at the other end but they can hear me clearly.

Any idea's ???

it may be that the mic inlet may have become clogged up as well

Looks like it's more incoming calls rather than outgoing ?

common fault was dust or a tear in the earpiece, cost about 2 quid for a new one
