Sterling investment for overseas resident?

We are a retired, English, couple living in France, with some modest savings in sterling accumulated during our working lives. Our pensions are also paid in sterling.
We have one, UK based, sterling denominated current bank account, and a sterling credit card.
With the horrendous fall in the value of sterling versus the euro, we do not wish to transfer more than necessary of our savings to France, and we are looking for a sterling savings account giving a reasonable interest rate in the present circumstances.
However, apart from our current UK bank, we have been unable to find any other UK based saving scheme which will "take" non UK addresses.
We wonder why, but more importantly and urgently, does anyone know of any UK bank, BS etc which offers a sterling savings product to non residents?
Thank you in advance.

Money laundering regulations basically mean that it's not possible for them to do so. You may have to look for non-UK sterling deposit accounts.
