Went to market for some veggies this morning and bought a 20lb net of sprouts and a 20lb net of carrots for £1 each

You're a nutter (meant in the most affectionate way possible!) Remember that you'll be able to freeze those without any ill effects :)

    Carrots:

    Vegetable/meat stocks
    Stews/casseroles/with any main meal
    Carrot cake
    Grated in salads
    Raw as a snack

    Sprouts:

    To accompany main meals
    In coleslaw ;)
With some chestnuts and lardons for a meal in themselves.

Today was quite quiet on the DFW front for me today.

    Daily clicks (10p)
    Free scratch (10p)
    Sealed jar (40p)
Discovered £20 error on my banking spreadsheet. Was a little skint for the month anyway, but will save £10 of this £20 to stay in my savings good books

On reflection, £10.60 ain't half bad :D We're having a Chinese takeaway tonight to help us get over having to go back to work, but this won't cost extra (as the food is budgeted for monthly and we got free food for a week by going home for Christmas).

    Keep cozy everyone!

You lot have got me excited and i don't even really watch it.:rotfl: Have to say though and no doubt you will all shoot me down!! But, i prefered Christopher Eccelston as the doctor in comparison to David Tennant!! I'd still go see David Tennent in Hamlet though, bit of a shakespeare buff:o My OH got me a book all about the life of Shakespeare for Christmas and i'm already half way through, its my fave present above all else he bought me.

    • Listed some more books to sell on Amazon.
    • Done daily scratchcard (20p)
    • NSD except lottery.
Am also sat waiting eagerly to hear who the new doctor is. Got a feeling it is somebody quite unknown.

Christopher Eccleston was an excellent Doctor, but I do love the puppy-like enthusiasm that David Tennant has.

I really hope the new Doctor is HOT. We need some Galifrean crumpet.

I am such a geek. If you think I'm lying, I'm sitting in my boyfriends Atari t-shirt :D *sigh*
