Went to the jobcentre this morning. Saw assessment advisor and then had interview. In and out in 25 mins. Was given all the relevant paperwork, signing on book, etc. On the phone when I gave all my details they said we will do it in your name but as a joint claim. When I got there even though hubby was with me and signed the form and gave all his details, they never asked him a question. Now I am worried, because I didnt pay NI in 2006/2007 as I wasn't working but hubby was. Will they look at his details automatically to assess.
Can anyone please tell me how long this should take? I have to go back on Tuesday to sign on. As we have been living on our savings, we need it sorted quickly.0 -
Had my phone call interview this orning from the council tax office. Went through both incomes, both NI numbers. Bank accounts. Daughters salary etc. They are coming round next week to go through paperwork.
Anyone let me know how long they take or what happens now?????0
