Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

  • I wasn't going to do the Jan sale thing this year but yesterday I couldnt help myself.I was searching for something in the sales suitable for wearing to a pirate party and found a big frill front blouse at M&S which will be fab.I just kept going and bought great bargains in M&S,BHS,and WHSmiths.Didnt spend much at all and ended up with everything for all the women and girls for next xmas except dd,s main present.
Loads of jewellery in BHS at £2 each,WHSmith gifts at between 99p and £2.Boots and argos sales are good for toys,I have bought some in boots online for kids birthdays through the year.

So far i have brought 2 female bath/shower sets from M&S local outlet £1.49 each! I always keep my eyes peeled for gifts all year. :money:
trying to do better in 2012! :j
£20 so far saved for Xmas 2012:T
£8 so far from clothes taken to recycling buyer:T
    £10.75 from moneyback coupons.:j
Plus spent £25 on 2012 christmas presents which should of cost £50:j
  • I have done some of mine too. In fact I have infected everyone at work. This last christmas I had all the presents sorted by October and went out on all the outings without worrying about the cost. So now they are all racing to be finished buying tier presents before me. And I keep getting " you will tell me when the Boots 75% off sale starts won't you"

    So far for Christmas 2009:
    - bought the cards
    - also gift wrap & bags
    - my friends' gifts
    - the neighbours' & kids' gifts
    - several bits for MiL's box
    - BiL/SiL's gift
    - 2 nephews' gifts

Just need 2 teenage girl gifts & 2 male gifts to complete the 'general' Xmas presents.

    Also have sorted out:
    - Mother's Day giftsx 2 (but no cards yet)
    - all birthdays up to end of March inc cards(4),
    - contents for gift baskets for friends' birthdays (need to find nice baskets)

All the above are sale bargains :j

I have started embroidering an Xmas picture which may well be a gift too.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

yes started December 31 bought wrapping paper at card factory, bought blank cards at hobbycraft - cut up old cards and wrapping to start making new for next year, working on dammit dolls as presents, bought some presents in the sales and determined to start earlier this year wrapping them as I go!;)
  • Have cupboard half full again with plenty to see me through the first few birthdays and more to fill hampers for next christmas. All sale bargains or Boots glitches.

Can I ask Phunkles, where did you pick up Disney Trivial Pursuit? Could use one of those myself!!
