We went to Sundrum Castle in October. We upgraded our caravan and it was very nice. We mainly used it as a base to tour the area, but we used the pool a couple of times. It's small but was quiet when we were there. Also we used the bar/cafe a couple of times which was pretty reasonabe. I would recommend it. I have only ever seen terrible reviews of Craig Tara though so don't go there.mercurystar999 wrote: »Anyone been to any of the parks near Ayr in Scotland?0 -
I have never tried to combine the 3 and 4 nights - thought i dont think this is possible. I have however - have done this a few times, waited for my conformation to come through, then contacted the park direct with my booking ref, and extended my stay. I have never had any problems doing this. We usually stay at Devon cliffs or looe bay. Have also stayed at Newquay - south Wales and have extended the stay at all of these.
Which would you recommend out of looe bay and devon cliffs?0 -

I've been to Craig Tara in Ayr, and I had quite a good caravan to be honest which was clean. I wasn't fussed about the complex itself, but than we only used it as a base. I took the dogs for a walk on the beach every day which was a good point. We popped to the lovely Isle of Arran for a day trip which was beautiful. The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0
