Just ordered this lovely set from Argos plus [Text Removed] sorry if I'm not allowed to post.

Home of Style Sherington Dining Table with 6 Grey Chairs down from £900.

£279.99 then the discount off that!

Shabby chic style table with the chesterfield style fabric chairs!

Have been looking at chairs like this for ages, this is by far and away the cheapest of this style anywhere!

Argos refused to honour their offer of 2@£15 then quote Home25 to get extra 25% discount ON TOP of all other offers if total Homewares order is over £25. When I went to their store to collect my reserved items staff member said I could not have both offers despite both their website and newspaper advertising stating otherwise
My order complied with their terms and conditions as confirmed when I complained. Wasted journey and waste of my time
I said no thank you I won't buy then. Left store with nothing.
Will spend my money elsewhere. They do not deserve my custom if they won't honour their offers
So beware and make sure you get your promised discounts

I was so annoyed that I tried to complain to Head Office as the offer was still on their website 6 days after my refusal but to my surprise there is no Telephone number except the one to track orders. I tried that on the day I went to the store and got cut off after a voice message telling me no advisor was available
I couldn't find anywhere to email and the only way to communicate was live chat and they were not able to answer or deal with my complaint
It left me realising that I would not want to buy anything expensive from them as if the store staff are unhelpful or can't help you are left with nowhere to complain to quickly as you can't phone and speak to anyone if you want something resolved speedily
Thank goodness I found this out before being put in that situation.

    Sixth Anniversary
Also for the Argos eBay store: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sme/argos/offers.html
  • It feels really rare to find any good savings on Apple products. We needed to replace our very slow MacBook and were really pleased to find Argos have a 10% discount on a lot of their MacBooks at the moment. The code is MAC10. As you will pay at least around £950-1000 for a MacBook, this is a significant saving.
