Just had a quick google. It seems the only way to get multiple independent boxes is to upgrade the LNB.

" I may be completely wrong on this, but one thing is certain you cannot take the feed from a single LNB and distribute it to several other receivers, in the way possible with aerial inputs/RF signals.
Changing channels on a satellite receiver sends several commands to the LNB i.e. which polarity to use (H or V), which part of the received frequency (High or Low band) and this can be controlled by only one receiver."

hmc, I think upgrading the dish/LNB and running new cables will be the cheapest option, but please let us know how you get on.

I've no idea how much a pro will charge for the equipment. That would be interesting to know too. The ebay link I posted has the LNB, cable and fittings for £20.75 delivered.

Correct, usually via a Quad LNB ( 4 outputs ) or an Octo LNB ( 8 outputs ).

sorry if this in wrong place
im awaiting a quote for upgrading my loft aeriel to accomodate freeview in a bedroom
    i have sky downstairs(no subscription)
would it be cheaper to have freesat or similar upstairs as i already have a dish
or is it not something my aeriel man can do just a sky man
    thankyou

Do you need / want to watch different programmes upstairs and downstairs? If not, another option would be to connect the 'RF2' on your Sky box to the TV in the bedroom and use a 'magic eye' to control the Sky box remotely. This might be as simple as joining two cables in the loft.
