What Does This Tell You

Over the last week or two noticed a very slight constant whistling noise from my pc tower....it's not enough to start annoying me (yet)... however.... what i have noticed is that the noise gets slightly more pronounced when doing something like closing an open window or opening a program. Any idea where it may be coming…

The fact that the whistling/whining noise changes note with load, suggests that components e.g. inductors, in the switched mode power supply are making this noise not any fan.
