in a nutshell? no. the contract was signed for 18m which by using the phone you agree to the t&c. with regards to the phone.... its the network, not the phone you pay for in your line rental, and if tmobile are providing a network for most of the time, they are fulfilling their side of the deal... tmobile will not cancel your contract because your phone is faulty....:odoes my bum look big in this sig?0

Actually, the phone is included in the price you pay for the line rental. If you look at the offers you get with sim only, then look at a contract you get a phone with, and you can see the difference in minutes, texts etc. That shows that you are paying something for the handset.
If you can, try to get the phone repaired again, if it's still under warrenty and not physically damaged (inc. water damage) they should fix it foc. Then if your not happy and it's still not fixed then they should find an alternative option for you. After all, they provided you with a handset for the length of your contract, if that doesn't allow to you use your contract effectivly, then they have to sort the problem. But as said above, it's very unlikely they will cancel your contract.
