Barclays Insurance

I have been with Barclays for a few years as they have kept their prices low.
I am about to renew but first I would like to check here if anyone knows of a better deal for my money and policy;
Buildings = £500.000
Liability To Public = £2,000,000
Contents = £50.000 (included is £3000 contents in garage even though I don't have one)
The policy is £22.66 a month to pay.

Lloyds TSB are really good, went through Quidco and got £120 cash back at the time so it might be worth checking some of the cashback sites for deals.0

I went to confused.com as Quidco didn't really give me any options to click on. Not very clear.
I got a quote via Confused.com from Insurance4retirement for £238.68 which saves me over £30.
I wasn't sure what to put for cost to rebuild house so I guessed at £500.000. The house is worth around 90-100 K0 -
Well Quidco came up with over £600 for the year with both insurances. I think I will stick with Barclays at a mere £2710

I didn't, I tried a number of insurance companies and Lloyds TSB came out on top, the cashback was just an extra bonus and they did pay out so I was well pleased.0

Where do you live Buckingham Palace....my insurance is £11.71 for buildings and £5.73 for contents each month, with Lloyds TSB. £600 a year is well over the top, who was that quote with?0 -
All my windows (we inherited them like this) have locks but the previous owners didn't leave any keys. Would you still class this in the application as having window locks?0
-
Depends if you want the policy to provide any cover should your home be broken into.
Assuming the windows were left unlocked and remain so.0
