Car Insurance with Pass Plus

Are there any insurers/price comparison whose websites detail discounts for people who have a Pass Plus certificate?

That's where I looked before posting on here. It lists companies like the AA and Churchill who don't do quotes with Pass Plus discount on their website.

Quinn Direct give discount (I know cos my son has just done it) - you can create an online quote with / without to see the effect (or just phone them) - for him the discount was greater than the cost of the extra lessons - with the added benefit that he will be better equipped to drive safely!
  • for me when i passed about 10 years ago it would not of made me a saving to make it worthwhile, however for some people, they have reported massive savings. Not sure if those massive savings were overinflated prices to start off with though

On receiving quotes from several insurers for DS, I then asked what the discount would be if he had the PassPlus - answer was none!

Maybe we were already getting the best they could offer:confused:

E car insurance HERE are worth a try, they were the best price for my 18 year old lad last year. You can put in "awaiting pass plus certificate", if you haven't done the Pass Plus yet.

Think I must've tried every insurer out there - the most expensive for us were those claiming discounts for passplus:rolleyes:

When my children did Pass Plus (a few years ago) the insurance difference was a bit of a joke. In those days the only companies who recognised Pass Plus were horrendously expensive in the first place.
The biggest savings we found were by adding me as a named driver.

The quotes on that site seem more expensive than MoneySupermarket who don't ask you if you have Pass Plus.
