    I'd be interested to know this too. A 700MB movie looks like...
  • the picture quality is good on my set up. i use my laptop as a dvd player as well as the usual stuff, my 40" samsung handles the picture fine, just dont sit to close. i also use a wireless mouse and keyboard so that my lappy just sits there closed. overall i have no complaints.

    Ok the video looks great on the TV

    I could not get sound to work as I did not have white/red leads and none in maplin.

    I did have some spare yellow/red and white/yellow leads knocking around and tried plugging those in but still no sound - would colour of leads make any difference given they at least look the same? Or I am doing something wrong here !!!

    According to other forums t he Sony V series PC sound in port is a 3.5mm jack not a twin phone type arrangement so you'll need a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack. That's to say a mini headphone type plug to a mini headphone type plug.

    This explains a few things
