Thanks bunbun :D Someone mentioned on another thread that there's a code for free delivery for Lakeland on the HotUKDeals site. I've just ordered 4 packs of mini marshmallows and a pack of disposable icing bags to make 'milkshake soup' for the party bags.

  • Try www.thecuriouscaterpillar.co.uk they do great party bags and fillers. The Party Bags are coloured paper and come with tissue paper. Some good things for girls to make too.

some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
  • Personally I just go for books. I did this for my DD's 4th birthday party and since then 2 other parents did the same. One other gave water pistols instead. I think most parents agree that a bag of plastic tat is awful. I also won't have cheap felt tips in the house because if they get on any fabric etc they don't come off. If DDs are given them then they go straight in the bin.

  • I'vejust had a look at the website listed above and it isn't exactly cheap for party stuff. Also, I have an aversion to websites and companies that cannot spell. Fussy, I know, but if they can't proof read their site, can I trust them to get my order right?
