  • Not sure how I'm going to manage to get out of the door with a bouquet, handbag and spade though. Anyone passing by with a camera might get a scoop.

It's my friend's birthday in 2 weeks and she mentioned a while ago that she'd love to try golf.
I'm thinking of buying her a golf lesson for her birthday rather than the usual boring flowers/chocs/wine thing.
    What do you guys think?

    major dodgy Hugs for Lenster!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

sounds like a great idea Linda. I would have a chat with some of the golf shops to see if they have any deals with local courses.

Bizarrely, I had a letter to the people who used to live here (moved out nearly 5 years ago!) to say they hoped he enjoyed his 2 for 1 gold lesson recently.

Lenny - Is this guy just bigging himself up on facebook to try and make himself feel better and everyone else feel crap?

For all you know his personal life may secretly be in tatters.... then who's the better man?
