It's my friend's birthday in 2 weeks and she mentioned a while ago that she'd love to try golf.
I'm thinking of buying her a golf lesson for her birthday rather than the usual boring flowers/chocs/wine thing.

sounds like a great idea Linda. I would have a chat with some of the golf shops to see if they have any deals with local courses.
Bizarrely, I had a letter to the people who used to live here (moved out nearly 5 years ago!) to say they hoped he enjoyed his 2 for 1 gold lesson recently."Stay Wonky":D
