Once again I didn't finish all my jobs for yesterday  so I am carrying them over to today. This seems to be becoming a habit  and one that I really need to break if I ever want to get caught up on my college work. Plus I am away for the next 2 days so won't get a chance to do anything. We are going to London tomorrow morning and coming back on Tuesday, late afternoon. It's a college thing so it's compulsory but we only paid £40 and that is for the return train, hotel room and theatre tickets. I am taking a packed lunch for the train tomorrow and I am hoping not to spend too much either.
I have transferred £10 from my interbingo account from the free scratchcard :j that was before I could try to double it on blackjack and then lose it all like I did last time  I must make sure I do the scratch card everyday as even if it is only 10p most days it does soon add up and as they say every little helps.

We have decided not to go to the cinema as I am far too tired and just cannot be bothered. Plus, I spend a lot of time there working so don't want to spend all my free time there too.
I made great progress with my list and I am very pleased with myself for actually completing it. Wish I could do that everyday though.

On the plus side my wage this month should be more than usual as I worked a lot during my week off college so I must budget early on and see if I can put any extra in my isa. I am hoping to get quite a bit saved up and then give my mum a cheque before my DFW date and surprise her.
Well must dash as I am working tonight. It's only 4 hours but every little helps.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

Just a thought, you mention being tired and needing an early night - are you sure you are getting good *quality* sleep, like? Maybe get some ear plugs or black out curtains to help with your 8 hours x0 -

I have SO much work to do in the next 2 hours  I saw my tutor yesterday and she wants all outstanding work emailed to her today by 5pm  or she won't be able to look at it
But I am going to London today for an audition at Drama School tomorrow so I only have about 2 hours left  I guess her doing this will make me work hard and finally get caught up on everything. I am annoyed at myself for leaving everything to the very last second and I even had to call in sick at work yesterday to make I get it completed  So that is losing me money and as I have to rush my work it won't be as good as it could have been if I had just done it as I went on  I just hope I have learnt my lesson
On a sad note I have had 2 auditions for drama schools and unfortunately I was unsuccessful in bothI just need to stay focussed now and as my tutor says, "Do the business." I am starting to feel disheartened but I must not let it get me down. I have paid to audition at these schools and have paid for travel to London for most of them so I really do need to give it my all so it's not a waste of money.

On the money front I am working a few extra hours this week so I will have a better wage than usual in May. But as we will be in college Monday-Friday 10am-10pm from 27th April-22nd March  I won't be able to work as much then. However, I will probably be exhausted so won't be able to go out and spend money either :rotfl: Also, when we finish I will be able to work a lot more hours and hopefully catch up on my ebaying so more money there and also getting rid of the boxes under my stairs.
Well I better go as I know that I have a lot to do and learning my lines for Animal Farm will not be an easy task
ANY advice is greatly received or a kick up the bum as that is definately needed :rotfl:LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09

:jAs of 14.30, Sunday 12th April I am debt free :jI would love to say it is because I worked my bum off scrimping and saving but my mum has written off the last £3000 as an early 30th birthday present. I did cut back, save and work more to pay off so much myself but my mum and nan have been very generous and I have had £6000 as my 30th birthday present. I had £3000 knocked off in November and my last £3000 knocked off today.
It's not a cop out though as I have learnt so much from getting myself into such a mess in the first place. It is so easy to spend the money and get into over £20,000 worth of debt but paying it back is SO SO SO much harder. I can't imagine how difficult it would have been if my mum hadn't paid off the cards and I had been paying interest.
I am very grateful to them both and they say I can pay them back by NEVER getting into such a mess again.LBM 14/12/06 £21,947.17 DEBT FREE 12/04/09
