Virgin media HELP!

Hi,
I first joined VM about a year ago as recomended by a friend (i got money off and so did she) I had the internet and the land line as a package for roughly £15 a month, well after a year of being with them my friend rang up to enquire about a bill and the lady offered her the free tv option where she could pay the same she is now and get the free freeview, so i rang to see if i would qualify for the same thing, to my unfortunate luck i spoke to a horrible lady (it always happens to me) who basically said i could have the tv for an extra £5 explained about my friend getting it for nothing and she said well you dont get things in life for free do you (well obviously you do, my friend has) Dont worry people i made a complaint..... to which it was responded as 'we treat our customers with the upmost respect and will be looking into this sitution' and that that was the last i heard..... i work also on the phones dealing with customer enquirys and if i had spoken to a customer like that and they had made a complaint my head would be on the chopping block and would have been made to contact the customer and apologise! Now to top things off i was sent a leaflet to say if i took out the internet and phone package i would get free freeview ( i already have the flippin land line and internet are these people stupid) plus now my bill has risen to £20-£25 a month!!! Help me please!! Everyone else i seem to speak to have phoned VM said they do anything to try to make them stay with Vm. Why not me????

    the thing with vm is that they only give u a discount for so long ie 15quid! you should also get the free tv,

    you could do what i did an said if you dont give me the new customer offer of 15.50 for bb an phone with free tv like your giving everyone else i will go elsewere! i did (although i did mine on the 20meg package) an they didnt want to loose me so they gave in to my demands

    although it did take me a whilst to actually get through to the 'proper' disconection team as alot of departments say they are but then they say there not
