Also a good call on the Boots thread; I got a £10 illuminating powder (described on the B thread as "humiliating powder" which made me howl); via the points machine it was free with any No7 purchase (£6 nail strengthener for me) last week - so good freebies/gifts to be had.

I love the Boots thread, those girls are amazing.:D

Re the "humiliating powder," heard the Island Glow shade described as "David Dickinson powder":rotfl:I can see what they mean, but can't bring myself to knock a freebie:D Have had a powder and line gel free this month and still got a voucher for another powder.

ShoeGal, you must keep an eye on the Boots thread, a few months ago I got 10x facial wipes free and they paid me (via points) £20 to take them away. Also got hair gel, styling products etc for 1p each. At Christmas I got loads of kitchen stuff in the sales for free using points. It's good for little treats; as my sig says, 6 months following the Boots thread means I have no need of toiletries this year and possibly next year too. :D

Oh how I would love that. Tomorrow is my official weighing day, I know I have been rubbish and even 1lb would be a nice surprise and that 1lb a week would mean a huge loss by Christmas, but I want it all now:mad:

Hi Shoe Gal - don't know if anyone's already mentioned it but have you tried getting magazines from your library? I now borrow ones such as Cosmo, Marie Claire and the like on a free one week loan and haven't bought any since finding out!

Great diary btw - wish I'd found it sooner!
