Oh hollyberry - I think we should do some body parts swapping, I could easily donate a couple of bra sizes & still be plentiful :o I used to be a 'vase' shape but my beehind is on a mission to catch up asap

    Shoe Gal -

just keep drinking lots of water to fill you up & try some unsalted nuts & fruit to nibble on - sweet & munchy but much better than biscuits or pastries ;)

On the subject of beachwear, I solved this problem a long while ago by deciding to never ever wear any such thing ever again. The thought of having to wear a bikini makes me shudder with horror:eek:

Sounds like a plan but I love lying in the sun - and trying to get tanned (naughty, I know) - so it onwards with the dieting :D

I TOTALLY understand how you 'need' shoes for the party - new shoes and parties go so well together - rather like gin and tonic!!! :rotfl:

I can't remember seeing sun warm enough to strip off to get a tan. Cornwall was a bit parky last year :p

I am really with Sarah on the bah humbug swimwear scenario, but the problem is that I love swimming. I think that I should reactivate one of those Victorian bathing tents which can retreat once I am safely in the water. The tankini is only the lesser of several evils, preventing simultaneously the exposure of stark white flesh and that strange "airbags" look that results from a swimsuit when your top half is two sizes smaller than the bottom.

Sarah, five pairs of shoes in the trolley? I know you only intend to buy two, but what if the others get lonely and form a lemming-like procession to join them?

Shoe Gal - I hate to point this out, but are you sure you are fully qualified to be "testing" shoes? Is this not rather like a bee testing pollen? ;)

Lula - Happy to accept a donation to the top half, but have you quite realised the extent of my return donation to the lower half? :D
