as in the job centre? I tell them everytime, but if I ask for £499.99 I have to give them a detailed explaination as last time they nearly gave me more. So are you saying that I "could" apply for more as a one off aslong as I told them I was subject to a dro? My brain cells are not in good working order today, lol. As I am sure you can tell..
i have just reread my dro papers and it states...quote...you must not obtain credit of £500 or more, either alone or with another person, from anyone without first informing that person that you are subject to a debt relief order....

Do not take this the wrong way but i feel i should say this. I maybe way off the mark and if i am i apologise.

It seems to me you are obsessed with credit. It is probably this obsession that got you to where you are now. You have said you are at the hilt with your budgeting loan already. You say you have no spare money to buy this "n" that and want another loan. Now if you get another loan your payments will double up. How will you afford that?. Get another to pay that off?. Before you know it you will be back to square one heading for bankrupcy. My advice grin and bare it cut back for the next six months then try to get a job. You will be much better off if you do. Sometimes the kids do have to go without. They are more resilent then you think.

Without meaning to cause any offence, i do agree with Orville. I would put it slightly differently however, and simply say borrowing money is not the answer. I know it because a loop of action as you never get chance to save up because of paying back previous loans, however i would encourage you to simply try.

Have you had any advice from CCCS/NDL/anyone similar yet? I know where I work (however i cannot disclose where) we allow people to budget for birthdays and christmas and stuff like that. the monthly figure isnt a massive amount, but does it need to be? I know growing up my parents never spent a massive amount on me for my christmas or birthday, but then i learnt that everything does have a price, and i wont just get what i want... I think the first thing that will help you is a budget, and trying to stick by it, and putting away the money you save for christmas and birthdays etc it will work. obviously you cant have more than £300 savings, but £20 a month is £240 a year, it's not extravagant but it's a fair amount of money.

I would encourage anyone doing a DRO to give up on credit, try and live in advance of yourself, instead of having to repay. find the joy in knowing you don't owe anything to anyone but yourself...

How long did it take for your DRO to be accepted? I was told on Friday (when the application was made) that I should hear early this week. I've been looking on the insolvency register every day since Monday and I haven't been added, should I be panicking? I'm worried the application hasn't gone through.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

Not encouraging just letting her know how it works. She asked i answered. It then became apparent that she wants tick for everything, hence me saying it's not a good idea.

When you say your order was made, were the forms simply put together? or have you paid your fee and they were submitted? if you have paid your fee and the forms were submitted on Friday i would say it should have been approved on Monday or Tuesday... i would get in touch with your AI

Hi I was just wondering as I have a dro in place would this be affected if I was to move abroad. My partner may have to go abroad to work and I need to know if I would be able to join him

Being abroad would not effect your DRO, but you would need to inform the DRO Unit of your new address, updated budget etc.
