    Okay there was just one thing left, that was the irish cream cakes at 34p, at that price I picked them up and intend to have them with Baileys.

    i got cadburys flake cakes in cov there were christmas puddings but didnt see mince pies

    Shop was shut yesterday and I went first thing and there is MASSES of stuff.

    I got choc oranges for 51p, mince pies 37p, tub of cadburys cho bites down from 2.49 to 62p, black forest slices - 32p - best before April ! Mint slices, same, thermos flask for £1.50 , make your own scrapbook for £1.50 from £6, so nieces pressies are sorted. Dalek bubblebath £1.25

    Lots of other half price offiers in store, half price bacon, tropicana, philadelphia, utterly butterly is only 54p a tub. Choc digestives 63p

    Baileys glass and minature, £1.50

    Chrissie decs 10 - 40p

    Too many to mention. Total of shopping came to £45, but everything was half price or less and now have bought familys entire birthday pressies for this year :)

    oh, and choc covered brazils 36p a box !

    Worth a look for sure

    Went to Sheffield Archer Road this morning and they had loads of mince pies inc. Mr Kipling for 37p, but I didn't see any panettone, sadly!

    They also had 75% off Xmas gifts - I picked up an espresso set with a small cafetiere, pack of espresso coffee and two small cups for £2.44. They also had an announcement over the tannoy that their £80 Xmas trees were reduced to £5, but I didn't go and look at them so can't give any more info.

    A lot of the Jamie Oliver Xmas gift stuff was 50%/75% off in our local one this morning.

    Yup got his 'italian' set today for £3.75 includes a colinder, rolling pin, pasta cutters and a pastry brush.

    Oh and my boyf bought a glenmorangie whisky set for £5 bargain! And got one for father in law for next xmas!

    Still after the pestle and mortar though!
