Errr....little sidenote - one can just find food on the streets.....over the last month I've found: 2 lemons, 1 orange, 1 leek and a can of lager. Waste not - want not thinks me and I've put them all to good use.:D I've found cheese (wrapped I hasten to add) and a melon before now. So - it does happen.

i found a jar of cloves outside St.Georges Hall in Reading once, felt sorry for the poor student who lost them, but as i was also a poor student, i figured it was ok - and 7 years later there's still a few left!

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

I'll be watching it, but not for the reasons I began watching the first one for.

I'll be interested to see just how far fetched it gets.

I was going to say, 8.00pm, so don't turn over to Eastenders after Corrie finishes. As I was planning not to turn over after Corrie.

Then I checked the online TV guide, just to make sure I had my facts right, and noticed that the hunt for the tightest person is on channel 4 at 7.35.

I had completely forgotten about that and would have missed it!

So that's the tightest person at 7.35 then turn over to ITV when it finishes.

I felt the programme was rather staged. He must have been given a lot of leads to follow up, otherwise the cameras would just have been following a man walking around on the streets for two weeks, and I very much doubt that many of the genuine totally destitute people on the streets would have had the ingenuity or capacity to research free options open to them in a similar manner. Yes, it gave a few interesting insights as to the limited options available in certain areas but a better experiment would have been to take five destitute people sleeping on the streets and see how they survived for 14 days. I suspect the result would have been rather different.
