    Morning Jamie
You've just given me a nasty reminder that although I'm smug that I've bought all the kid's presents - I haven't started on anyone else
Also, I have loads of birthdays around Christmas too - argghhh!

Well done on being so organised!

    Hi Macgirl:)

I think I will do all the voucher buying at the end of the month in one go. It totals about £120 ish I think but then that will be a huge chunk of presents bought and paid for.

I always find it hard to buy for people who's birthday falls around xmas. Especially DS2 as I struggle to think of ideas after choosing his xmas presents!

Good luck with your present buying!!!

I'm trying not to think about Christmas until December! I personally really dislike the whole 'gift-giving' thing. We are not close to family and so trying to think of things to buy for people I don't really know, just because I have to is a nigtmare.
My children are getting a WII as a joint present this year and everyone else...who knows!

Frankie - I am not a big supporter of gift giving either. I love buying for my kids but not everyone else. I have agreed with my best friends that I wont be buying for them this year. I have a large family so find it hard to not give a gift especially as I will see them all on xmas day!

I am up early this morning as its college day! Ive been up an hour already and am properly awake now:)

Wont get anything done today as I wont be back home until 6pm. Older kids will help themselves to dinner, ds3 is being fed while out with carer and dd will eat with me when I get home but it wont be anything amazing:D

Will be doing another asda shop next week to take me to the end of the month. Need to buy milk and bread today though, will update signature later tonight if I have time.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning:)

Good day at college yesterday, had a test on what we have learned so far and I got highest marks in class so was really happy!:D

As I expected, the rest of yesterday was a write off so didnt get anything done! Today I have a meeting at the school about DS1 so will hopefully get that out of the way and crack on with some housework.

Nothing exciting planned for the weekend, just a lazy one with me and the kids:) I like the slowness of the weekend after a busy week!

    Thanks Beanie:)

Kids are all still asleep and I have been up an hour! Just sorting spreadsheets and the like.

Planning on doing my asda shop next week so I am putting together a shopping list. We still have plenty of food from the last shop I am pleased that has lasted so well. There are things I am beginning to run out of now so I want to stock up on those!

Not much else to report, another lazy day for us here:D

    Morning:)

A day of housework today, have loads to catch up on as I was very lazy this weekend:D

I decided to do a small asda order yesterday and it is being delivered tonight, this should take me to the middle of next week when I will do my final november order. This means I have done 3 online shops this month and have pretty much managed to stay away from tesco and the co op:)

I am hoping that I can reduce this to two shops in December and then one in January. I will be looking at all 3 reciepts for the month to work out exactly what I am using as opposed to what I think I am using:)

I still have plenty of meat and cereal and tinned goods in so I will see how far I can stretch this, I am planning on maybe a chilli for dinner tonight.

I have also finalised the xmas list for the children and dont have that many presents left to buy. I am clubbing together with my sisters to buy for mum and dad. Most other people will get vouchers which I will buy mid december.

Nearly time to wake the kids so better sneak another cuppa in first, hope you all have a lovely day!

Arghhhh just typed a post and lost it!!!!

    Beanie - Thanks:)

Had asda order delivered last night, will be spending today working out a meal planner. Hoping this food will last until 25th and then I will place another order. Both orders this month are now tracking on quidco:D

Got a lot of housework done yesterday and laundry is all up to date yay:D

Will be working on 2010 budget if any time left today... I am thinking it looks like being a good year!

Better kick on with those lunchboxes...they arent going to make themselves.....unfortunately!
