Frankie - Im training to be an electician. I am really enjoying the course, but it is a long day and I find I am shattered on a friday!

Got nothing done except college yesterday so today is catch up day, I do have an appointment at 9.30 but should be finished by 10.30 so then home and try and organise myself a bit and get on with some housework!

    Morning Jamie
Electrician...that sounds really interesting. I'm looking at Accounting. Or at least I was but now I'm wondering if something more practical might be better.

The course is really interesting! And quite a laugh, tutors are excellent! Hoping to be able to work for myself on completing course. I chose a trade as hopefully I wont have a problem finding work. Plus there is a lack of female electricians:)

I certainly reccommend going back to college to retrain!

Do you mind me asking how much it costs and how long the course is for?
I think the idea of being self employed is a good way to go. Its something I like the sound of.

Frankie - My course was £45 for the year under the level2 entitlement. If you get a prospectus from your local college, they can tell you what you are entitled to dependant on which course you want to do:)

Busy day here yesterday. Last night went out for a meal with a friend for her birthday, was lovely food but quite expensive! Will be my last night out for a while!

Off to the park with DD this morning to play in the puddles:) Have a great sunday everyone!

    Morning all!

Had a lovely day yesterday, went to the park and for a walk on the beach with DD in the morning and then took DD and DS3 to another park for a walk and to see the squirrels then in the playpark. Was cold but fun!

Today I am waiting in for another delivery but I have plenty to do anyway, lots of ironing and housework! Need to play catchup with the washing again too but it seems to be a dry day so may get some on the line!

As usual the house seems to be a bit of a mess after the weekend but wont take long to clear up.

I will be doing some more xmas shopping this week online, have been using quidco where I can so am getting some cashback, not a lot but its still worth it.

Better get on as I have lunchboxes to make!:)

  • Woke up late this morning! Not a good day to do it either as I had to get cat to vet this morning for neutering! Plus an appointment at school at 9am and school runs, but managed it all fairly smoothly!

Ordered a few more xmas prezzies today. some for ds1 who I hadnt bought any for yet! Got 3 for him and another for ds3.

Still waiting for one delivery this week, I am hoping it will come today....

Another rainy day so will spending it indoors:D

Have started next months budget and it looks pretty good so far, I am also staying ontrack with this months grocery challenge too, I will have to buy some milk from shop today though!

  • Hi Jamie, glad to see you are slowly getting xmas sorted. I guess it must be much tougher because you have so many to buy for with different needs. Good thinking about starting early...

Have a great day, even if you are stuck indoors

    Morning Pap:)

I have a large family so I do have a lot to buy (at the last count I think about 20 people!) I do buy a lot of people vouchers for xmas so they can buy what they want but I always buy prezzies for younger kids and my own children.

I think I am almost finished with prezzies for dd and ds3, I know exactly what I am buying ds2 just need to buy it, but I am seriously finding ds1 hard to buy for this year!

I also have ds2 birthday on 29th december so I need to have got his prezzies before school breaks up for xmas holidays.

I will be getting all the presents I have bought so far and totting up spends so I make sure all kids have had the same amount spent on them!

    I love xmas!!!!!!
