I dont know where the days are going at the moment! They are zipping by so fast!
Off to college this morning, DD finished school yesterday so she is going to a friends today, which will save me about £30 in out of school club fees:) The three boys don't finish until tomorrow.
I managed to get to Chichester on Tuesday morning to buy the rest of the xmas presents except one which I will get on Monday.
Need to put some more petrol in the car this morning, I will be glad when the kids break up so petrol use will go down over the Christmas holidays, its so expensive at the moment.
The weather is playing havoc with my eczema, and ds2's is awful too! Yesterday was so cold all I wanted to do is stay at home! Better get on with making lunchboxes otherwise I will get behind time.November NSD's - 70 -

Enjoy your week! I came home from holiday yesterday feeling a lot more festive than I did when I left.....Although I still have to work up until lunchtime on Christmas eve, so can't get too festive just yet :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. OOh holiday where did you go? I think I am more excited than the children:D
Had a bad night sleep again, was up about four times in the night, for no reason!! So annoying!
DS3 is going out this morning with carer so I have a big to do list planned. Must phone up and book a haircut for when the kids go back to school. Keep forgetting to do it so havent had it cut for ages!!!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning all,
Had a lovely xmas and loads of nice bits. The children were thrilled with their presents too.
Spending the next few days planning for next year and making sure everything tallies.
Have a few £ left in the bank account so will be deciding what is best to spend that on.
Have already made a purchase for next year, got a real bargain for DD birthday (march) so snapped that up. Will be starting the new year in a negative(only on the spreadsheet), but it will right itself by her birthday. It was too good a bargain to miss!
I am aiming on buying the flooring for the front room in january, I cant wait for that:) Will look lovely when its finished!
I will probably be starting a new diary in the new year but will be putting a link to it on this one. Or I may not keep up a diary next year, not entirely sure anyone actually reads my waffling:) ( I know you do PAP;))
Kids are all still asleep, but probably not for long. Another cuppa calls....November NSD's - 70 -
Hi Jamie
Belated Happy Christmas and Early Happy New Year to you!
You're very organised and ship-shape so early :T Glad you all had a good Christmas.
Have a good day, Mac x0 -
Hi Jamie, glad to see you had a fab christmas. Its always great when you see children enjoying the day. Sounds like the bargian was worth starting January in the negative, but as you say its worth it. Sometimes the positives outweigh the negatives regarding debt/money.
Have a good time sorting budegets and stuff. I love it when you have a new month/year as its like a fresh start with finances etc etc. I am sure with all your skills you can make the books balance. Other than the living room floor was there anything else you wanted to do in the house? Did'nt you want to rewire something? Or are you waiting till you qualify and do it yourself? Talking of college when do you go back? Do you still have some time off?
Ohhh Jamie whatever you decide to do regarding the diary is your decision but either way I will still try and 'follow' you. Maybe if I made more of an effort to comment it wouldnt seem like you waffle, not that you do! I seem to lurk on many diarys and only post on very few because most of us 'oldies' know what and how to do things regarding money....
Anyways belated 'Happy Birthday' and 'Happy Christmas'. I hope you have a fab new year whatever you are up to and i hope 2010 is amazing for you
Love and hugs... Pap0 -
