Morning all:)
Was hoping for a lie in this morning but unfortunately my body forgot and woke me up! Nevermind, theres always tomorrow:)
Paid PAD this morning of £18:) I am so close now!! £372 in total just one more payment of £18 on Monday and I can order the decking:D:D:T
Went for a coffee in town with friend yesterday morning....costa is soooo expensive, I think thats only the 2nd time I have ever been in there!! Now I remember why:D Got some keys cut while in town, two back door and two front door, £12!!!! These were needed though, so I dont begrudge!
Also dished out pocket money yesterday so I am now officially skint until next week! Not to worry as I dont need anything. I am fully stocked up food wise, half a bottle of wine in the fridge for tonight:) and so will not be spending anything this weekend, so 2 NSD's for me!
Next weeks plans:
- Pay the last Pad payment to decking (£18) then order it:D
- Contine PAD payments daily, need to find £150 for mate to build me the decking, estimate I have 2 weeks to find the money for this. Need to save about £11 per day. Will be keeping groceries below £60 per week to achieve this, also walking the school run everyday to save petrol. Will be allocating myself £10 spends for the week, and a few bills are due out but other than that...will not be buying anything I dont need.
- Hoping to sell at least one more ebay item in the next week. I have now bought two xmas prezzies out of earnings:) Still a long way to go though!
- Keep on top of all jobs around the house, especially the washing and ironing!
- Plan when to repaint DS3 bedroom, could manage this over a period of a few days when he is at school.
Thats the plan anyway:D
Have a good day all.....
PS Brummiebabe:wave: good to hear from you! xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Hi Jamie. well done on getting the decking money together in such a short space of time. Your house and garden will be looking fabulous daarrling very soon!
My most exciting prospect for the day is to go to Tesco........I know, I bet you can't believe the whirlwind liestyle I lead, either :rotfl:

hypno, I am basically not spending money on anything unneccessary so I can get the money together, I cant wait until I have so I can have a few more treats but for now, the house comes first!
Tesco on a saturday:eek: I dont envy that!!November NSD's - 70 -
Sunday morning and I wake at 6.30 again!!!!
Nothing to report money wise as I dont make a PAD payment on a Sunday. I am looking forward to tomorrow though:D
I have 2 watchers on my ebay item, hope this sells. Xmas prezzie number two arrived yesterday and is now safely tucked away!:)
First week of school over and I cant believe the amount of homework DS1 has now he is in year 9. Also DS2 has a fair bit and I cant remember his brother having as much as this in year 7. Apparently they are having a crackdown at their school, the teachers have gotten into trouble for not giving out enough homework! However my paperwork pile seems to be going down as I am sitting with them while they do their homework and ploughing my way through the pile of papers I have, its now a smaller pile:)
Really hammered the ironing yesterday, got loads done! Have one wash to do today and another pile of ironing and then I am caught up....till next week!
Need to buy some A4 laminator sheets next week as I want to laminate the boys timetables and put on the wall. My sister borrowed my laminator about a year ago and I have just borrowed it back:D
Kids are just starting to wake up...peace is soon to be shattered!:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
Hi JD et all,
Wow ..... the PAD nearly there ! That's going some JD ...... really well done. :T
Ours get a lot of homework too, DD1 is in Yr 11 so doing GCSEs and a lot of the subjects she took are coursework-related. She must be at it until 9pm most nights (I do make her take 2 days off though, she has to have time for fun !) DD2 just started Yr 7 so is very keen to do HW at the moment, wonder how long it will last :rotfl:. DS is Yr5 so not too much. I don't remember ever getting as much as they do now when I was at school. I do think teachers now have too much paperwork to do (not their fault!) and more emphasis is on the parents to help and more homework set.
Off to the car booty in a minute to see what bits we can find for the new allotment. Coming along nicely - we now have a shed ! lol (was the first thing needed so that I can go for a pee) :rotfl:.
Paid for DD1 Alton Towers weekend the other day so that's all my decorating fund gone. That's her 16th b'day pressie so there will be a box of chocs on the actual day and that's it ! Will have to start again next month but had gas and elec bills in so not sure how much I'll be able to stash away. Oct, Nov and Dec should be ok. Am busy making jams/chutneys ready for family Xmas hampers so shouldn't spend too much on pressies this year (well, that's the plan anyway!)
Right, need to go and kick DH out of bed (he's the one that wanted to go to the booty and he's still in his pit ! lol)
Have a happy Sunday all xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
I was up at 6.30 too
Good luck with finding what you want at the car boot, jtb...don't spend any more than you need to!
My DD is in year 11 so is working really hard too, and DS is in year 9, although he takes a more "relaxed" attitude to his homework
My paperwork pile is not getting any bigger - as I am dealing with things as they come in but I need another blitz on the "old" stuff soon.

Jtb- Have fun at the car boot! Havent been to one for years, taking ds3 somewhere like that would be a nightmare so I just dont go. Well done on paying for dd trip, good plan to do it for her birthday.
Hypno - you are getting good with the paperwork thing, I am trying to get it sorted when it comes in too:)November NSD's - 70 -
