Pixie - 17 for lunch:eek: Ooh kids can be naughty cant they, I remember looking for xmas presents to peek at when I was younger!
Pad of £14 for me this morning!:) I have also added a new thing to save for. I need to get a plumber in after the electrician has done his work so am going to put a little aside for that everyday too!
The balance is still looking quite healthy though, I still hope to be on target to order decking materials by 2nd week of september:)
DS1 had a friend to stay over last night, all the kids are asleep so it is nice and quiet at the moment!
Managed to sort paperwork! Have a tiny pile left and will be dealing with these this week!:)
Have 2 items to post on ebay today, so need to pop out at sometime this morning!November NSD's - 70 -

Pad this morning of £24:) It will probably be much less for the rest of the week but I will be making that up next week. Still, Grand total now of £288:j
Had a re quote yesterday from the place I am getting the materials for the decking from, Needed to give them the exact amount of planks of decking needed, which made my total quote less.....by £65!!!:D
Better get sorted as have plumber round at 8.30 to quote me for the work I need doing.November NSD's - 70 -
Things going really well for you JD ! You're very focused :T Good news about the decking, will you put the savings towards something nice?

Spending this week getting ready for school, gardening (lots of things finished so need to clear away and tidy up), cooking (from all the garden produce) and trying to get into 'back to work' mode myself . If i'm really honest, it will be nice to get back into a routine.
DH possibly going for another job within his company (in effect a promotion) which will mean a pay increase, which in turn will mean I might be able to give up work and be a complete SAHM :j :j :j. I'm a bit of a home bird really and love all the cooking, cleaning and looking after my family - old fashioned I know
. So, watch this space !
Right, better go and get this green tomato and cucumber relish on the go .... have a great day everyone xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Hi Guys,
Didnt get a chance to post yesterday. Was manic being the first day back at school!!!
News: Yesterday my friend turned up as he had a free day and built the false wall and put in the window sill I wanted in the front room, he is going to be really busy for the next few weeks and wouldnt have got the chance. Anways it looks fab! Cost £150. So I have withdrawn the money from the PAD pot which leaves me £142, I have allocated this all towards the decking otherwise I will be behind on the plan and will start re-saving for the other stuff when the decking has been bought:)
So, I need £390 for decking materials, I have £142 so £248 to find. I have not put in any money today as I want to readjust my budget and plan to cover the changes. I will be working on this over the weekend and start Pading again from monday. If I am to be on target and have the money to place the decking order by friday 18th september I will need to PAD £21 per day from monday, to cover it! That is my target.:) I hope to achieve this, but if it takes a few more days it isnt a problem.
The wall does look really good and will also help reducing the cold in the room over winter as the plastic 'wall' that was there was not very energy efficient! The plaster is going off at the moment and is turning pink, I always really like this color!:)
Better get on, need to wake the kids up shortly!November NSD's - 70 -
Morning people:)
The last few days have slipped by in a blur! Didnt get to post yesterday as I was busy getting a load of things done around the house.
Have adjusted my budget to take into account the money I need to PAD in the next week or so to reach my target:)
I have given the new wall a mist coat plus one normal coat, almost looks as if it has always been there now! Will hopefully get to give it another coat today. I am still waiting on the plumber's quote, he said he would get it round to me in the week but I havent had it yet. Without it, I can only estimate how much therefore when I can get that work done.
I have roughly guessed that I can have all the prep work done and the painting finished by end of november. Then I can start saving towards the flooring. It may be sooner but that will depend on how much the work actually costs, compared to what I have estimated.
Food shopping going well, spent £48 on friday:) I am happy with this. I am planning on going back to my usual food shopping day of a wednesday from next week as then all the kids will be back at school and I can have my proper routine back:D Its amazing how much you get out of your routine on school holidays!
I have loads of ironing to do today:( The weather hasnt been great this week so I am behind a bit on the washing.
Christmas prezzie I ordered for DS3 out of my ebay earnings arrived yesterday:) Havent sold anything in the last few days though, I am hoping this will pick up a bit soon!November NSD's - 70 -
Sounds as though you are moving on full steam ahead with the stuff in the house:T
I have had a severe lack of energy this week so nothing house-wise for me.....which means that my ironing pile is getting bigger by the hour too, apart from anything else, even though DD did the midweek mountain for me. Where does it all come from, and why have the ironing fairies not yet paid me a visit
I *have* done a bit of the paperwork pile :A Only a bit mind, I don't want to scare myself into thinking I might be getting organised :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno, I am still struggling with the paperwork too lol, I know it needs doing but I can always find something else to do instead!November NSD's - 70

Morning:)
Made big PAD payment this morning of £80:D This takes total up to £249. I only need £141 to order the decking now:) So thats £17 per day for the next 8 days! I should be able to make another big payment tomorrow and then it will probably be smaller payments after that. Cant wait to have that decking done:T
Target setting and review day for ds1&2 today (still no school) they have to go in, wearing uniform, for 10 mins!!!!
Will be pottering around indoors again today, getting little bits done. Back to school tomorrow:TNovember NSD's - 70
