This morning I have done PAD of £23:T I now have £131 towards the decking:T
More good news, I have sold two more items on ebay so more money in my xmas fund:j
Did my Tesco food shop yesterday, had budgeted £40 but it came to £28.08:D Extra money to PAD over the next few days:T:T
My cat had his op at vets yesterday and all went well, I picked him up at 2pm. I have my eldest girl going in to be neutered in about 6 weeks and also my youngest boy cat will be ready about then too. I have some RSPCA vouchers to have them done cheaply, I have already paid my bit, so when the time comes t will be no cost to me:)
My Ikea furniture delivery is due this morning:beer:, so I will be spending most of today putting it together. Need to go out and move my car soon, but will wait until they call, as they are supposed to phone me 1hour before they are due to arrive. I might take some pics when its up and in:D
Spoke to a friend yesterday about some of the work I need doing in the front room after the electrics have been sorted, he is a plasterer so is hopefully going to make good where the electrician has moved the ceiling light etc. I feel that I am finally getting somewhere with the plan!!:D
I have a friend round this evening for a drink, I havent got to spend much time with her lately so will be really nice to catch up! I am hoping the weather stays nice so we can sit out on the patio and have a nice glass of wine...or two:D
My paperwork pile is building up again, so I think I need to challenge myself to do it....A nice reward methinks for getting it done:D
I can hear tiny footsteps upstairs so I better get off here and make another cuppa!;)November NSD's - 70 -
Morning:)
Huge PAD today, but does cover payments for today, tomorrow and monday. £72:T into the pot which brings grand total to £250:j
Just £200 away from being able to order the decking now:)
Ikea delivery turned up and I spent most of the day putting up furniture but I am so pleased with it!! The boys came home yesterday and they love their new room, everything has a place now and it looks so tidy:D DS1&2 also spent some of their money and bought me a new mug, some fudge and a tin of cookies. yum.:D
I spent £1.80 out of my £20 yesterday on postage for two ebay items. I have listed another, and that has two watchers. My paypal account has about £17 now:D Not much I know, but its a start towards xmas:T
Had a lovely evening with my friend and drunk way too much wine but it was nice to catch up and have a gossip and chill out:beer:
Have lots of housework to do today, and loads of washing from the boys holiday, but it looks set to be a gorgeous day so will dry easily.
Better crack on as DS1 has martial arts this morning and no doubt will want a lift:rolleyes: so need to get kids up.November NSD's - 70 -
It all looks as you are doing just fine and dandy with the budgets/home improvements etc! It will be sooooo worth all the effort when it is finished!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. it seems to me your really organised jamie ...i am loving this pad ..sorry havnt been on the last few days been having to deal with things ...you know how that goes ...
glad the kids love their room makes it all worth while doesnt it ...
hope your head doesnt hurt too much and you do seem to be getting ever closer to the decking ...silly question i know but would you be better off waiting till next year to get it ...it should be reduced at the end of season and you can maybe put it by till next year then ???? might not be a great idea but thought it might help0 -
hi elantan, hope things are going ok for you?
the reason that i am going to do it now rather than wait until next year is that I am buying the decking from a builders merchants, i wont be able to get it much cheaper anywhere else, plus I am getting free delivery and a good deal as its a mate of a mate, plus the bloke doing it is very cheap. Another reason is that my dad cleared that side of the garden, if i wait until next year it will probably be overgrown again! I could weed it but who likes weeding?:D Good suggestion though!
I am glad the recycling men collect this week as I have all the huge boxes of cardboard from the Ikea delivery yesterday and want to get shot of them!
PS, my head was a little tender this morning:DNovember NSD's - 70 -
very sensible I must say .... Things are going
for me that is about as positive as I can manage just now .... 2 paracetamol for the head no pint in suffering0 -

My bedroom is shockingly untidy.......so you won't be getting to see any pictures of my room anytime soon :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
