What are the best contract deals for heavy users?
Options
I'm currently with Orange on a crazy Talk Share scheme that my father set up but we're out of contract so I'm free to move and I'm taking my phone over so I'd like a cheaper bill! I currently have no free texts but loads of minutes but because of texts, my bills still average around £170-200 per month.
The best deal I've found so far, is with O2 who offered me a Samsung Z320i with 750 texts and 750 X net anytime mins for £35 per month but my friend managed to get 1000 a few months ago. O2 also answered my call immediately and were very polite. However, is there a better deal?
I phoned Orange and at first they didn't even want to speak to me as I only have 3rd party access to the account and then, when I said that I was thinking of leaving, the best they came up with was 500 texts and 500 x net mins for £45 and they also kept me waiting on the phone for ages listening to their hold music! The Orange guy said that the O2 deal was very good and I'd be mad to stay with Orange- are Orange actively trying to lose customers?
I need at least 500 mins and 500 texts but I don't care too much about the handset. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
