I've been a good girl today! I've applied for a new 0% credit card as my MBNA is coming to an end and got approved which is cool! Ironically it's a new MBNA card (with a higher limit... duh!) so have to shuffle it to get the balance across... I'm sure I'll manage some how :)
    that's another 12 months at 0% apr... :) hooray!

LOL I've been working all day too - major outages and problems but figured I'd take a late lunch and do it whilst I remembered :)
But yes we have all been very good today by the looks of it! I have another load of washing on and just need to clean and tidy the whole downstairs before we have people over for dinner tonight...

  • Afternoon,

Just me. Good luck with your business venture, Nikki. Sounds like things are moving now which is good :D

I started off the week feeling quite motivated... but today I feel rubbishy. I have been gaining weight for a while, but for some unknown reason my appetite has gone (good I suppose) so I am dropping the weight that I gained! I have a wheeze and a sharp pain in my shoulder when I sneeze... hope it doesn't turn out to be anything bad :o

My savings are slowly going down, which is not good but I just keep thinking 'what's the point of saving?'. I had a target for 2008... reached it in December... but now I've fallen below it again  I made a massive order with an online sweet shop the other day and it was expensive too, eeek, but dare I say worth it?! They arrived today anyway, loads of my favourite flavour Jelly belly beans and other stuff. Dunno what's got into me lately!

Hi CL, it's nice to see you back.

I think the weather doesn't help, but it will be spring soon (and my birthday :D). Either way I hope you feel better soon. We're allowed to treat ourselves sometimes otherwise there wouldn't be much point in saving and we'd all have pretty dull lives. Keep thinking of the house at the end of it though :).

I can't wait to get January out the way.

I know how you feel about savings too CL, i am tempted to spend mine.

I have to buy a new monitor as mine has to be turned on and off more and more times each day to get a picture. Am trying to what until i get paid but tempted to order now, trying to resist as have spent so much this month,

My washing machine is slowly dying too. It took 3 hours to do a normal load last night, it used to take no more than 2  Maybe i should have used calgon, its probably all scummy inside!

Do you have any dooyoo vouchers you could use lilmiss? I'm not sure if you're already signed up to this, but consumer pulse have this link http://www.volunteer4panels.com/ on the page once you log in so I think they might be recruiting now. If not it might be wirth signing up, I think they tend to need males more than females so it might be worth signing your OH up too.

I'm rationing my bacardi & have decided I'm allowed some tonight, so I'm enjoying that and listening to brand new, I feel so emooooo :rotfl:.

I am going for cash on Dooyoo towards paying off the NY hotel.

I have £20 in vouchers coming, one from toluna and one from IPSOS. Have you had yours yet Nikki?

Thanks for the info, I signed up ages ago via them and got on shopandscan and re-registered for consumer pulse again a while ago.
