Hi Shelley - sorry about getting your totals wrong - again! I've put it right on my last update.
Hope the bib patterns are OK! They're only simple and don't take long.

Hi all - I've tried to make the running totals easier to update but, although I had three separate columns when I did it on Word, I cannot use tabs on here to do the same, for some reason. I think I've made it slightly easier because there are only three items on each line! As the list is getting longer by the day, if not the hour, I shall start updating in the mornings in one post only, and any chatting I do will be in another post! If you look at my latest update, you'll see what I've done!
I think we are victims of our own fantastic success! Well done everyone and thank you so much!

Hi Shezmit, I'd love to do some squares with my children, and thanks for your post clarifying size. Two questions - do they all need to be pastel colours? as I don't have any pastel yarn at the moment and also what about strips of squares to save on sewing-up? ie change colour rather than cast off after 20 ridges if you see what I mean. If so, any idea how many squares long you'd like the strips? :hello: to Aaron and well done for getting this going!
Kathy, your new totals format is great, and please could you add 1 baby hat to mine when you update - thanks.Ginny
6 baby hats, 3 squares
and far too many WIP's....

I would prefer pastel colours but any colours will be fine
thats a good idea with the strips, ok this has got me thinking LOL. We are going to be doing 4 squares x 4 squares per blanket, so that would mean 80 ridgeseach side per strip
i think its nice to get kids involved as it helps them to concretate

Thanks Shelley, I'll try to get some pastel yarn, maybe raid my mum's stash! The other thing we've found really good for children to do is finger knitting - have you tried that? my youngest has made great long loose cords (very quickly) from dk, then we're knitting it up into a really squishy bedside rug.
All the best,

Hi Everyone
Lovely to see how many people are getting their children involved - had one attempt with my eldest but he seems to like the idea of it more than the actual learning it. Don't tell anyone but he might get that from me.......
Doubt I'll get much done today as will be painting (of the Bob the Builder variety rather than Picasso) when DH gets back. Ironing MUST be done this evening as back to school on Tuesday for DS1.
Please can I be updated with 1 pr kids mittens for LH and 1 bunting. Might see if I can get started on something new for 10 minutes before brushes come out!
Have a lovely afternoon all.0
