What co-operative chicks Shezmit! i'm hoping the hedgehogs are as helpful and fly off my needles.
Out of interest, does anyone know what Shazrobos collection of hedgehogs would be called? A prickle of hedgehogs?!
Shezmit, can you make use of toys other than teddies or just them? thinking of trying a bunny........

A group of hedgehogs is called an array and I'm sure shazrobo's make an impressive display
''A prickle of hedgehogs?!'' seems far more suitable though :rotfl:

Hi everyone - a really early post from me because I woke up too soon and couldn't get back to sleep. No doubt, I'll be desperate for a nap before lunch!

Maytaurus - sorry to hear you have M.E. and that your Mum has Alzheimers; must make life difficult for you. Thanks for all the links - lots of useful stuff there. It's great to be able to add your name to the update list!

Pippa - hope MIL is feeling better.

Shaz - hope Josh has a good week at school.

Well, I crocheted another bunting last night.
I hurt my back a week or so ago and it was really aching yesterday; we had people flitting in and out all afternoon, and I spent most of the time standing up near the kettle making pots of tea or washing up the cups, and I think that made it worse. I was really glad just to sit down and crochet by the evening. It seems a lot better this morning, thankfully.

Anyway, lots to update again - you've all been so busy.

    Have a nice Monday!

    KathyXX

Hi Pippa - glad to hear your MIL should be coming out of hospital in a few days.

Thanks for asking about my back; it's a lot better but just aches a bit when I've been standing for a time. I know it's well on the mend, though.

Thanks for the update - I'll add it in the morning. I think updating just once a day, at the same time, seems to be working. Touch wood, I'm not making so many mistakes (she says, fingers crossed!).

Tonight, I'm starting a dinosaur, and tomorrow I shall treat myself to a trip to the local wool shop. I want to get some 'hedgehog' wool! I won £10 on the Lotto on Saturday and it was the first ticket I'd bought in ages, so perhaps I'm starting a lucky streak! Rather than stick the money in my purse and see it get swallowed up with the housekeeping, I have decided to spend it all in the wool shop. I'm really excited about spending it! Shows what a rivetting life I lead!
